Hunting trip

Last week we joined most of our boys out in Vernon on their hunting trip. We spent Saturday with them. We had such a great time. Bruce and I went on a four-wheeler ride, and sat around the fire. Brady drew out for his deer tag, (or as cammi would say, He won the drawing!) in the Vernon area.

This is later in the evening when the boys made it back to camp with Brady's buck.

Early Thanksgiving Dinner, Early Christmas.

We decided to host a Thanksgiving dinner while we had everyone in town. We usually have it up at Bruce's parents home before they leave for Arizona each year. This year we had it at our own home. We cooked Turkey and Ham and all the thanksgiving tradtional foods. (including the pumpkin pie... yum!)

Bruce had these cute backpacks made in Kuwait. He personalized all of them with each one of the kid's names. He sent them here a few months ago and had me tuck the box away in the closet. We brought it out after dinner so he could give them to his grandkids for their early Christmas gift. They were so excited! Each one of the backpacks had a different picture sewn onto it.
Logan thought it was the coolest! he especially loved sucking on the draw string!!

This was such a special gift. I'm sure the kids will have them forever.

Baby Blessings

Bryce and Corey had their boys a week apart. They decided to bless them on the same night while Bruce was in town. Tyler and Brandie were also in town. It worked out perfectly!

This was such a great evening. We had a full house, but it was so much fun to be together!

The three boys were born while Bruce was gone. He was able to meet Logan when he was home on his first leave before leaving the states. He was anxious to meet Easton and Kyson on this most recent leave. They all love their Grandpa!

Manti

We took a couple days and drove down to Manti. We stayed in a Bed and Breakfast. We went to an evening session at the Manti Temple. We love to go down there and enjoy the slow pace! The temple is beautiful, the grounds are peaceful. We enjoyed the time together, and time away from home to visit more and set our goals. We talked about our family and how grateful we are for the blessings we have.

It was our first time staying in a Bed and Breakfast. Our room was great, but it was like staying in someone's home as their guest. We went down for breakfast and sat in the dining room. We had to wait for the other guests that were staying there. When everyone was there, the owner of the house offered a blessing on the food and we ate breakfast. A nice home cooked meal! Much appropriate for the setting.

Bruce is always so willing to share his suit jacket when it's cold out. What a sweetie!

Guardsman Pass

We took a ride over Guardsman Pass to see the Fall Leaves. Bruce and I love to go on mountain drives. The leaves were so pretty. There was some snow on the ground, and we had so much time to talk and catch up!

We dropped down into Heber afterward to visit Bruce's parents. Fun day!

Together again!

Bruce came home from Kuwait for a 15 day leave. It was awesome to hear everyone clap, hoot and holler for the soldiers as they entered the airport. That was quite an honor! We were so happy to be together again!
